Wave Rural Connect Signs Up 15,000th Customer

Native Arkansan, Geraldine Krudwig, taught at various public schools and universities for twenty-eight years. However, in 2020, she decided to retire and move closer to her children and grandchildren. While surveying properties near Northwest Arkansas, she instantly gravitated toward a particular home on the outskirts of Alma.
“It’s a little 1000-square-foot house, but I fell in love with it. It is just beautiful out here.”
She describes her rural country home as an “oasis of peace and contentment.”
The only drawback was the poor internet connection.
After spending many months restarting her modem each morning, hoping the internet would work well enough to do the bare minimum, she began looking into other options. She received an announcement in the mail about Wave Rural Connect being available in her area.
She said, “Everyone I talked to was advocating for Wave Rural Connect.”
In January 2021, Geraldine took the initiative, becoming the 15,000th River Valley resident to sign up for Wave Rural Connect’s fiber-to-the-home service.
Wave Rural Connect enabled her to eliminate the cost of cable and comfortably rely on her internet to stream movies. Geraldine explains that she has yet to experience buffering, updates are nearly instantaneous, and she frequently reads on her Kindle with the power of Wave Rural Connect’s high-speed internet.
“The difference is like night and day,” shares Geraldine.
She explains that she has had many internet service providers and that neither the internet nor the member service has ever compared to those of Wave Rural Connect.
